Wellness is her passion! Krista has been working in the nutrition and fitness industry for over 15 years. She is the owner of KB Strength & Wellness where she offers nutrition coaching, personal training and small group fitness classes. Krista is a CanFitPro certified Personal Trainer, currently studying a coaching certificate in Women Specific Strength Training. She is a certified Kettlebell Instructor through Agatsu and The Orange Kettlebell Club. Krista holds a 200Hr Yoga Teacher and is certified in the SPRY (Strength Power Resistance Yoga) method. Through the Edison Institute Krista gained her title as a Holistic Nutritionist and is a certified Level 2 Nutrition Coach through Precision Nutrition. Her knowledge and positive energy emanates as she is a woman with a desire to help other women feel empowered and amazing in their bodies.
Catherine has been working in the fitness, nutrition and wellness field for 30 years. She has been working with rehab clients with injuries, clients recovering from surgeries and for clients in general for personal strength and nutrition. She is a Registered Nutritionist, a Certified Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Leader, Adaptive and Third Age Fitness Leader, Yoga Instructor, Spin, Kettlebell and Bosu instructor. Catherine has a program that she runs at Strathcona Gardens for people with chronic illness called the Chronic Disease Management Program. It is doctor referred and a very growing successful program. She is also an aquatic fitness and first aid instructor. Catherine is very knowledgeable and with her level of expertise she can help women achieve their goals while giving them continuous accountability and motivation.
Christel has worked in the fitness industry since 2014. She holds her fitness certification with BCRPA with a specific designation in Group Fitness Instruction. Christel is also Mossa certified in Group Blast, an energetic cardio workout which uses the STEP to train various aspects of fitness. In addition to this training, Christel instructs classes focused on building muscular strength and endurance. From her own experience when she was new to fitness as a participant, Christel knows the importance of providing an inclusive and fun atmosphere for attendees. "My goal is always for my participants to feel accomplished and to have fun by providing them the knowledge they need to work safely and successfully. The feeling that is created when a group of ladies comes together for common goals builds a very special camaraderie and I love that Lady Fit gives us the perfect platform to support each other." Christel has a true passion for being a positive part of the fitness journey for those who attend her classes.
Elaine joined the fitness industry in October of 2013 and is a certified Group Fitness Leader with BCRPA as well as certified in the Mossa program, Group Blast. Along with Group Blast, Elaine teaches other high energy cardio and strength classes which improve cardiorespiratory fitness, strength, balance, coordination, and endurance and can be modified for every fitness level. Elaine has been involved in team sports the majority of her life and says it's that Group environment and music that motivates her and her participants to push their limits and feel successful in their own personal fitness journey. "I always want my participants to leave class with a smile on their faces and a sense of pride in themselves no matter their age or fitness level. We all have to start somewhere and Lady Fit is a place where women can come together and empower each other through fitness. I feel truly lucky to be part of the Lady Fit team."
